Process

Through research I understand the user (website visitors). The users are art collectors and curators who need  a neat site where they can easily find the artworks, understand the trajectory of the artist and make contact.

While ideating and designing it was important to create a clean style with a sober color palette, to avoid distraction and keep focus on the characteristics of the artworks displayed.

In order to reflect the artist's trajectory in an intuitive and easy way, the home page functions as a scrollable feed that displays news in chronological order, starting with the most recent.

All the galleries of Work were arranged as if they were curated in a physical gallery/museum space. To do this, I used white as a background color, took advantage negative space for composition, and made a selection of artworks that would make sense in a cohesive visual and conceptual path. for each series.

The accent color (green) was chosen to represent the artist's most important series of work: outdoor sculpture and foundation, which are mostly found in open spaces of nature such as forests and gardens.
